Having had no races since the Baxters River Ness 10K and nothing until the GO33 Ultra in November it could have been so easy for me to become a lazy git! However over the past 4 years October and November seem to be my 'peak' fitness months and have always run well during them. This year feels the same. It's been good not having committed myself to any events over this four week spell and have felt relaxed and at ease during my training runs without worrying about time targets. So rather than writting about each of them and boring you to death i've just stuck on some photos of some of them below. It's two weeks to the GO33, which will be the last event of the year, and i'm looking forward to it more now than I was last month. I think doing a couple of training runs along parts of it's route has helped this.
